Bio Research Urea Barthelot Biochemistry Reagents are specially developed for the quantitative measurement of urea using the Barthelot enzymatic colorimetric method. This method is based on the reaction of ammonium ions (produced by urease action) with a chromogenic agent to form a blue compound, measured photometrically.
